General FAQs

Do you take insurance?

No. I don't accept any insurance at this time. I do not ever want a 3rd party unfamiliar with the client to dictate what the client needs for pain relief.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are required 24 hours in advance. After 2x of cancellations or no-shows, clients will be required to pay in advance for any services.

Is pre-payment required?

It depends on the service. Pre-payment is not required for by-appointment therapeutic massage services. Book first, pay at the appointment. Prepayment is required for all aesthetic services after your first visit. You book your first appointment online without pre-payment. Pre-payment is required, however, for repeat offenders of the Cancellation Policy.

How often do I have to come in?

This is completely subjective and up to the client; however, I will recommend options for best results after your first appointment.

Can I swap services?

No. Each service is unique and cannot be exchanged with another service.

How far can I book in advance?

Our convenient online booking system allows for appointments to be scheduled for up to 60 days in the future.

Do you refer out if you can't serve me?

Yes. I often have clients referred to me by their physician, chiropractor, PT and other massage therapists. If there is a service or condition that is out of my scope of practice, I have a list of trusted professionals to refer to, as well.

Plasma Fibroblast FAQs

What is Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma Fibroblast is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses plasma energy to target and tighten the skin. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, promoting skin tightening and rejuvenation.

How does Plasma Fibroblast work?

During a Plasma Fibroblast treatment, a device creates tiny plasma arcs that interact with the skin's surface. This process creates micro-injuries, stimulating the skin to produce new collagen and elastin fibers, resulting in a lifted and rejuvenated appearance.

What areas can be treated with Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma Fibroblast can be used to treat various areas of the face and body, including the eyelids, under-eye bags, crow's feet, forehead lines, jawline, neck, and decolletage. It is also effective for reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scars.

Is Plasma Fibroblast safe?

When performed by a trained and experienced professional, Plasma Fibroblast is generally considered safe. However, as with any cosmetic procedure, there may be some risks and potential side effects, such as redness, swelling, and scabbing. It's crucial to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the provider.

Is there any downtime after Plasma Fibroblast?

Following a Plasma Fibroblast treatment, there is typically some downtime. The treated areas may appear red and swollen, and small scabs may form. These scabs will eventually fall off, revealing new skin underneath. Recovery time varies among individuals but usually ranges from 5 to 10 days.

How long do the results of Plasma Fibroblast last?

The results of Plasma Fibroblast can vary depending on individual factors such as age, skin condition, and lifestyle. In general, the effects can last from 2 to 3 years. However, maintenance treatments may be recommended to prolong the results.

Cryotherapy FAQs

What is Cryotherapy for Body Sculpting?

Cryotherapy for body sculpting, also known as Cryolipolysis or Fat Freezing, is a non-invasive procedure that uses cold temperatures to target and eliminate stubborn fat cells. It is commonly used to contour and shape specific areas of the body.

How does Cryotherapy for Body Sculpting work?

During the procedure, a specialized device applies controlled cooling to the targeted area, causing fat cells to crystallize and eventually be eliminated by the body's natural processes. The surrounding tissues remain unharmed.

What areas of the body can be treated with Cryotherapy for Body Sculpting?

Cryotherapy for body sculpting can be used on various areas, including the abdomen, thighs, flanks (love handles), buttocks, upper arms, back/bra area, and under the chin.

What results can I expect from Cryotherapy for Body Sculpting?

After the treatment, the body naturally eliminates the targeted fat cells over the following weeks, leading to a more contoured appearance. Results are gradual, with noticeable improvement seen in about 2 to 3 months.

Is Cryotherapy for Body Sculpting safe?

Cryotherapy for body sculpting is considered safe for most individuals. It is a non-surgical and non-invasive procedure that does not require anesthesia. However, it's essential to consult with a qualified provider, like Balanced BODYWORx, to determine if it is suitable for you.

Can Cryotherapy help with Pain Management?

Yes, Cryotherapy can be effective in pain management. The cold temperatures used in Cryotherapy can help reduce inflammation and numb nerve endings, providing relief for various painful conditions, such as muscle soreness, joint pain, and certain inflammatory conditions.

Is Cryotherapy for Pain Management suitable for everyone?

While Cryotherapy for pain management is generally safe for many individuals, it may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions, such as cold intolerance, Raynaud's disease, or cardiovascular issues. Always consult a medical professional if you have concerns.
